My Poor Baby!

Will is sick. He started running fever early Saturday morning. I took him to the doctor later that morning and his ears and everything looked fine. It's just a virus. She ran a CBC and he's pretty anemic, so we are going back to the doctor Monday morning to get that rechecked. His temperature went down close to normal today, but I could tell that he still felt lousy. Unfortunately, it's starting to creep back up. Poor Will!

Boy, Oh Boy!

I am in trouble! After my last post, I decided that Will was finally ready for a nap. Typically, he just naps for 30-45 minutes so I went in to check on him after that time since I hadn't heard him on the monitor. He was sitting up happily on the bed playing with a tub of my lotion. Luckily, he didn't figure out how to open it, but I was quite shocked to see him sitting there without a care in the world.

Pulling Up!

I didn't get a picture of it because the camera's memory card was in the computer but Will pulled up all by himself this morning on his soccer goal. I was clear across the room. He has been pulling up on Kenneth and me for a while now, but this was the first time that he's done it without any spotting. I'm so proud of him.

In other news, I'm not too sure that I like his new trick of being able to go from laying down to sitting up all by himself. I wanted to take a nap, but Will apparently wasn't in the mood and kept sitting up. We are now playing in the living room. Hopefully naptime will come soon!

More Sprinkler Park Fun!

We went back to the sprinkler park yesterday. We met Grandpa, Grandma, Emily, Lindsey, and Dylan there. I really think that is one of Will's favorite places to be, although the water was a little cold yesterday so I don't think he enjoyed it quite as much as usual.

Grandpa and Will after running through the rainbow. This was when we discovered that the water was cold.

Dylan running around like a mad-man!

This was the second time that Dylan went under the buckets. Unfortunately, this time he looked up right as the water came down. He was unphased, though.

Will looking around and taking it all in.

Dylan playing some more.

Will won't ever be accused of not paying attention!

Will loves Daddy!

My favorite picture of the day. I think that Lindsey took about 20 pictures of Will before she caught one of him standing without holding on to anything. Kenneth says that he stood for 7 seconds, but he counts onetwothreefourfivesixseven, not one one-thousand, two one-thousand, three one-thousand, four one-thousand, five one-thousand, six one-thousand, seven one-thousand. Anyway, he stood unassisted for a few seconds. I'm so proud!

Some Recent Pictures

I don't remember what he was eating, but if you look carefully, you can see it in his nose!

This was taken Sunday afternoon. He fell asleep in my lap while sucking on a washcloth. I know I've said it before, but I really think he's teething this time!

We had red beans and rice last night for dinner. Do you see all the rice on his bib? Before we got the camera out he was holding his bib up trying to eat the rice directly off the bib!

This picture was taken first thing this morning. Check out the bed head!

Hanging out with the boys

Not sure what we caught him doing, but he looks guilty!
