Update on Will

It's been entirely too long since I wrote a post about Will. Let's see... what would you like to know? Will just cut three molars in the course of two days. He was very, very grumpy while they were coming in. I sent Kenneth a text message when I noticed that the first one had cut through.

Me: We have a molar!
Kenneth: Great. What do we need to do?
Me: A molar is a tooth. You don't need to do anything.

About a second later, my phone rings. It was Kenneth. He asked me what those animals are called that dig holes and run underground. I said a MOLE! We had a good laugh over that.

Will said his first two word sentence today: It's hot. And he's right. It is hot. Very.

I took these pictures yesterday with my "new" camera lens. It's actually about 20 years old, but I just tried it out for the first time yesterday. The lens that I normally use is broken. I was very upset about it since we will be going on vacation in two weeks. I had forgotten about this lens. One of my friends is a professional photographer and she told me that this "new" lens is a really good one and said that I should be excited about it. I was able to get some really good shots with it.

Here are some other fairly recent pictures.

Book Review: The Friday Night Knitting Club

This was a really easy and quick read, making for the perfect book to read a sentence or two and then put down to go pluck Will off the kitchen table. I liked how the author, Kate Jacobs, used such details in the characters. By the time I finished reading the book, I felt like I had known each of the characters for as long as they had known each other.

Now reading: The Last Lecture and The Thirteenth Tale
